Research Works an Overview

  • Currently working with Tosh Farms to find the cause and a treatment for lameness in sows to prevent millions of dollars in loss of revenue for the industry. This includes novel biomedical antimicrobial applications.

  • Fall 2024 Works in Progress Symposium & Spring 2025 Student Research Forum

    • Presented on work with lame sows with cuttlefish ink as a possible theraputic. I won second place in the Engineering Category.

  • Publication in MDPI Journal

  • Fall 2023 Works in Progress Symposium & Spring 2024 Student Research Forum

    • Presented on work plastics commonly used in hospitals, implants, as well as other medical devices. I did antimicrobial and antibacterial studies and analyzed data for the theraputic, Royal Jelly.

  • Assisted on a burn study through the Department of Defense Performed performing surgical tissue retrieval and histogram analysis on small animals which included antibacterial testing and analysis. ​
